James Cameron’s movie Avatar has hit the box office once again and it has been a huge hit just like it was when it first came out.The film hit about 2.9 billion dollars in the box office after its original release back in 2009, which was a record in the box office. The reason why the film did so well was that not only was the technology was extremely advanced for its time with motion capture and advanced CGI, but also because it covered a variety of relevant topics. From the call to revolution due to the greed of others, to the film bringing forward the true nature about how humans have treated the Earth. Not only was Avatar a hit back then, it was also a hit when it reached 30 million dollars when they brought it back to the theaters to prepare fans for its upcoming sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, which will be coming out in theaters in December of this year. In the re-release, after the credits rolled, there was a different scene played that will be in the sequel, which gave fans a taste of what’s to come in two months. But, there were three different scenes shown, and it was different for each show time. The upcoming and long-awaited sequel will be predicted to reach 649 million dollars in the box office when it releases. Along with two other sequels in the making, and the fourth one already being filmed, we will hopefully get to see new highs in the box office with these films.
