Nora Grosbach is a senior BioChem major. She has been involved in the cheer
and dance program since her freshman year, and was also one of the girls
who helped to restart the program. “This program took a lot to get running
again. We all worked extremely hard to get it going again and I learned so
much about myself in the process. By the end of the first year, there were
only 4 of us. It takes a lot of confidence and bravery to get up in front
of your peers and cheer and dance. I learned I can withstand much more
than I think I can”, Grosbach shared. After graduation, Grosbach plans to take
a year off and then attend medical school. On campus, Nora is an RA, and is
involved in Alpha Psi Omega and Pre-Health Professionals. Nora’s advice to
underclassmen is, “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem,
and smarter than you think. Go out and try new things that might scare you.
If you fail, you’ll learn from it. If you think you completely embarrassed
yourself, pick yourself up and keep moving forward, don’t let it define
you.”
