McPherson, Kan. — With the Commons building being in full swing this fall, the last piece of the puzzle has finally opened. The Aspretto has opened, and if you need a quick snack that is not quite a sandwich from the Boiler House, or a meal from the cafeteria, this is a perfect in-between-class stop.
Aspretto just a few weeks ago opened right across from the Café in the Commons. They’ve got a great selection of hot and cold drinks, and will soon offer a grab-and-go snacks for busy days. The café has a modern, open feel, where students can study, hang out, or just take a breather throughout the day.
You’ll find a bunch of drink choices at Aspretto, including freshly brewed coffee, tea, Poppi, Celsius, Propel, Mountain Dew, Rockstar, Bubly, Life Water, Gatorade, and Pepsi. And as stated before, will offer light snacks and quick food options, which will be perfect for a fast pit stop between classes.
Located just a few steps from the Bulldog Dining Room, this new café helps lighten the load during the down time for meal times while providing a handy place to grab refreshments. It’s quickly become a popular spot among students, many of whom are really enjoying the extra options and the convenience.
The Commons building is one of the latest additions to McPherson College, intended to serve as a central hub for campus life and new spaces for many of the faculty. The opening of Aspretto is another step toward improving student experiences and creating spaces that foster connection and community.
Now that the café is up and running, students can look forward to reliable service and quality throughout the semester. Whether you need a quick caffeine fix before class or a spot to hit the books, Aspretto is your place.
