The long-awaited teaser trailer for the Shrek movie came out last week, and many people online are already discussing it. The teaser trailer showed a clip of Shrek swiping through the magic mirror like a tic-tock, and at the end, it showed Donkey, Shrek, and Fiona all standing in front of the mirror. These beloved characters don’t look the same, which makes sense since the movie is said to take place 16 years after Shrek 4. Our characters have had quite the age up and maybe a pitch on animation change, and the public is very divided on whether they like it or hate it. On the one hand, a lot of people think it’s a smart choice to age up the cast because they have had the years hit them, but the other side believes there should be no changes, and they should look the same. This all boils down to preference, for some the new updated change was well-needed and a good addition. Other people miss the old nostalgic look that made Shrek fell like Shrek but overall the public’s opinions on these characters’ looks won’t change how well the movie is written.
