Are you looking for a furry companion to snuggle as the weather starts to cool down? Look no further than the McPherson Humane Society, now known as Cat House. Cat House cares for as many as 70 cats at a time, whether they’re a stray from the street or a cat that needs to find a new home. Every cat they receive goes through a vet, receives their vaccinations, and is spayed/neutered before they can find their forever home.
If you feel you aren’t ready for the full-time commitment of a pet, you might consider fostering a little fluff ball. You can also volunteer to help around the Cat House if you are looking for a way to help serve the community.
The care for these little guys is primarily funded by multiple generous donations. Cat House also welcomes shelter supplies including but not limited to litter, cleaning supplies, cat food, toys and beds. All donations can be left on the porch outside the front door. Alongside supply donations, Cat House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, meaning you can make tax-deductible donations.
Cat House is a beneficial place if you are looking to expand your family by one more fluffy friend, or if you are simply looking for a way to contribute to McPherson. Adoption fees are 80 dollars for every cat, and Cat House is open for you to find the right one. Open by appointment only, go to https://www.cathousemac.com or call 620-241-3682 to reserve your spot today.
