Dec. 15, 2024, we saw the matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions. Both teams had an outstanding record for the season, as beforehand the Lions went 12-1 only losing to the Buccaneers earlier in the season. However, Dan Campbell was able to recoup and blow past his competition. The Bills, who also had a good season, lost to the Los Angeles Rams 42-44.
Being able to watch these two teams who both could go to the Superbowl this Sunday is a treat for a lot of Bills fans, Lions fans, and anybody who enjoys watching good football. Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills had an incredible game, throwing for 342 passing yards, rushing 82 yards and having three passing touchdowns with hardly any errors happening in the game. On the other hand, Jared Goff, Lions Quarterback, threw for 283 passing yards, seven rushing yards and three passing touchdowns. While both quarterbacks have had amazing stats their whole seasons, we should also talk about their teammates. James Cook, running back of the Bills, most impressive stat line is 133 yards having two touchdowns with this performance. While the Lions have an electric duo nicknamed “Sonic and Knuckles,” Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery sharing snaps both put up great stats with Jahmir Rushing for 73 Yards and one touchdown and David Montgomery having 84 yards and one touchdown. This unstoppable duo is great, having Gibbs be the shiftier running back making big plays while Montgomery gets put in for those hard-to-get yards. This game is definitely considered a must-watch for the most reason season.
