Georgia Hitchcock has been a member of the Bulldog cross-country team since 2019, and, in her final year at McPherson, she is trying to make the most of it. In her time here, Hitchcock has competed in every event since her freshman year, and at her final race this year she finished 29th with a time of 20:43 over the six-kilometer course or 3.7 miles in imperial units.
When asked about her last season as a McPherson College Bulldog, Hitchcock said: “This season was about family to me. My team is my family away from home. I really cherished every meet and moment I had with them this season.” She will graduate in May with two degrees, a master’s degree in special education, and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Post grad, Hitchcock wants to work as a special education teacher or a third grade elementary teacher.
