On a young team, Brandt Johnson stands out as one of the few seniors of the Bulldog football team. Johnson is a two-year starter, but he has found reps in at least two games per year since his freshman season. To start his senior campaign, Johnson has recorded 120 receiving yards in eight receptions and one touchdown through four games. This has him second on the team in receiving yards. “This season has meant a lot, being one of nine seniors,” Johnson said. “I’ve put my fair share of work at [McPherson], and I want to end on a high note. The guys we have this year are special and the bond is unbreakable.” Brandt Johnson will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in science, majoring in health science. After McPherson College, Johnson plans to take a gap year before going to either physical therapy school or getting a radiology degree.
