The 2021 McPherson Homecoming King, Kaden Tichenor, has been a staple member of the Bulldog football defense since 2019. He has had 88 total tackles since transferring from Garden City Community College. Tichenor plays outside linebacker and can often be seen blitzing off the edge. The Education major enjoys teaching and that is his plan after graduation. With his degree, Tichenor hopes to teach kindergarten, but his real dream is to follow in his dad’s footsteps. After graduating, he plans to go to umpire school with hopes of becoming an MLB umpire. When asked what he hopes for to finish out the season, Tichenor said, “I just hope to soak in and enjoy my last few weeks of football with all the great guys I’ve met.” Tichenor has always had a team first mentality when playing sports and that continues to ring true as his time playing football is coming to an end. Kaden Tichenor will graduate in May 2022.
